What Fly Raft costs: US$388 a person for either option on the dates we read (November 2026), the holiday surcharge, the Viator price, and the flight and raft booked apart.
Fly Raft costs US$388 a person on GetYourGuide (checked November 2026), the same for the North and the South option, or US$776 for two. That was the price on every date we read, 14 November and 8 December 2026 and 12 January 2027, with no promotion and no change for a party of two. A Queensland public holiday surcharge and drinks on board come on top.

What comes on top
- Queensland public holiday surcharge: A$20 an adult, A$10 a child, A$50 for a family of two adults and two children, on Queensland public holidays only. These are the operator’s Australian-dollar figures, so the US$ amount depends on the day’s conversion.
- Drinks and snacks on board, paid on the day.
Nothing else is listed as extra: the flight, the boat, snorkel gear, the sun suit, lunch on Whitehaven Beach and the Airlie Beach pickup are all in the price. What the package includes has the full list.

The operator prices in Australian dollars, so what you pay in US dollars depends on the day’s conversion.
Booked apart: the flight and the raft day
You could book a scenic flight and the raft day as two separate trips. On the prices we read, that costs more than the package:

A flight plus the raft day comes to about US$414 to US$418 a person against US$388 for the package (checked November 2026). Booking apart makes sense only if you want the flight and the boat on different days, or one without the other.
Is it worth the money?
If you want both halves, yes on price alone: the package costs less than the two parts and saves you arranging the transfer between the airfield and the marina. If you would only do one half, it is not, and the raft day without the flight is the cheaper way onto Whitehaven Beach.
